HYPERTENSION & LOWERING BLOOD PRESSURE

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), high blood pressure and hypertension are viewed as a result of an imbalance in the body's energy or Qi (pronounced "chee") specifically in the feet.

To correct these imbalances and lower blood pressure naturally, one method is to utilize the meridians in the feet that are believed to be connected to various organs & systems in the body, including those involved with circulation & cardiovascular health.  A warm foot soak or foot bath may be used to stimulate the meridians in the feet to address this.  Each Pressure-Ease foot soak packet contains a mixture of six traditional Chinese medicine herbs recognized for their effects on reducing blood pressure & hypertension.  Each foot soak packet has herbs for two foot soak treatments.

The scientific community is also finding research to confirm the traditional approach of warm foot soaks to lower blood pressure and hypertension. A 2022 article published in the Journal of Nursing & Health Education showed a reduction in blood pressure in the elderly.
